I was cross training for Nordic skiing, since that's all that there is to do in Alaska, and I did the darkest sport known to man. Triathlon. I decided that running and swimming was dumb. So here I am now. On a bike. With no brakes. Going too fast to stop. Turning only left. What drives your competitiveness? Strava. I will steal your QOM.I feel the need. The need for speed.Athlete that inspires you? Why? Robert Förstemann. I want to make my toast with my mad watts. And not fit in jeans made for man.How many years have you been competing? This is my second year of track nationals. I have yet to find the brakes.What/where is your favorite place to ride/train? What/Who will you bring (people, gear, food, etc) I love riding in Boulder. I spin from coffee shop to coffee shop. Chamois time is training time...right?Group Training or do you prefer solitude? why?I like climbing as a lone wolf but I love long rides with my co-president Ricky-X. He's an excellent draft. Best result so far? I haven't died in any mass start events yet. And since Air Force isn't racing there shouldn't be any crashes. What are you working on right now?I've been working on Magnum for at least eight or nine years, but I shouldn't even be talking a bout it. It's nowhere near ready. What are you training for now? Getting to school on time.Training secrets?Care to share? Crispy M&Ms and slurpees. And following grandpappi Lang's training plan. Do you have a dream race you want to create? A survival race down the Alcan Highway. Originating in Alaska, dipping through Canada to eventually ending in Colorado.Training Tracks: Favorite songs to train/race to?
